【注】旧时葡萄牙驻扎大西洋海岸的要塞——马扎甘“长发人”城建于1506年,地处卡萨布兰卡“白宫”西南96公里/60英里,现属摩洛哥新城(El Jadida)管辖,是葡萄牙探险家在前往西印度群岛西非路线上早期居住的据点之一,直至1769年摩洛哥人夺回该城才结束葡萄牙长达250多年的殖民统治。
“长发人”城的堡垒和城墙都是文艺复兴时期军事设计的早期典范,而现存的以蓄水池和圣母升天教堂为代表的葡萄牙建筑则采用晚期哥特式和曼努埃尔“神与我们同在”(Manueline)的华丽装饰风格。
走进这个防御围城,我发现开张的商户店铺没有多少家,所见的古董建筑大门几近紧闭,周围老百姓懒得到这片看似摆设的地方闲逛,索性把古迹标配全都留给了上杆子的境外游客,不曾想时逢当地政客正进行普选游说,随行拉来小学生宣传队助兴,把野猫流浪的主街堵得水泄不通。
2004年,该城被世界科教文组织纳入《世界遗产名录》。
