得父产业去远方，不久资财浪荡光。
无奈田里去放猪，饥饿，欲得豆荚却无望。
父有雇工多口粮，起来，回家胜过死异乡。
衣袍鞋戒村口望，父迎，盛筵庆归宰牛羊。

He claimed his father's inheritance and journeyed far away,
Before long, his wealth and riches were squandered and swept away.
Left with no choice, he went to herd pigs in the fields,
Hungering for carob pods, yet none would come his way.
His father had hired hands with food enough to spare,
He rose up: "Returning home is better than dying away from there."
Robes, shoes, and a ring awaited at the village gate,
His father welcomed him; a grand feast celebrated his return, and calves and sheep were slain.
