与主一同坐席

愿我时刻警醒

能够听见主在叩门

当他叩门的时候

我就开门

我也得以与主一同坐席

我怎能像那愚拙的童女呢？

我怎能不早早预备灯油

以至出去预备的时候

主却来到了

当我回来的时候

主却已经关上门

并且说“我不认识你！”

主啊，我是属于你的

你也是属于我

你爱我认识我

求你保守看顾我

让我得着你真实的生命

让我每一天更加像你

让我听从你的命令

接受你的差遣

让我多结果子

让我一切所行

荣耀你宝贵的圣名！

让我听见你叩门的声音

让我与你你与我一同坐席！

Dining with the Lord

May I remain vigilant at all times,

Able to hear the Lord knocking at the door.

When He knocks,

I will open the door,

So that I may sit and dine with the Lord.

How could I be like those foolish virgins?

How could I fail to prepare lamp oil early,

So that while I went out to get ready,

The Lord arrived,

And when I returned,

The Lord had already shut the door,

Saying, “I do not know you!”

Lord, I belong to You,

And You belong to me.

You love me and You know me.

I pray that You preserve and watch over me,

Granting me Your true and eternal life.

May I become more like You each day,

Obeying Your commands

And accepting Your sending.

May I bear much fruit,

And may all that I do

Bring glory to Your precious holy name!

Let me hear the sound of Your knocking,

That I may dine with You, and You with me!
