Petition against violence towards Chinese!

4. It's my deepest believe that discrimination and provocation of violence in any form against anyone or any ethnicity have NO PLACE in this country.

5. My jaw dropped and a chill ran down my spine when I heard the song.

I was in total disbelief that a group who made a name by protesting being discriminated against would target another minority group with such a hateful "song".

6. Some people may find it "funny"; it is NOT!

7. Facts: Several Chinese families have recently been robbed in broad daylight in Atlanta and other cities in Georgia, including three in my little town of Athens alone!

谢谢四哥、马兄的支持，谢谢谨子的关注。我这小城被盗的一家就住在离我家2分钟车程外的一个社区。警察还在调查中，但据透露应该是同一个专门针对华人的犯罪团伙。这个黑人Rapper 在这种时候出了这么个MTV嘲笑和宣扬对华人的暴力，与当前他们抗议警察施暴的宗旨是背道而驰的。此事不得不让我想起当年洛杉矶暴乱时黑人对亚裔商店的洗劫。今天几个家庭碰面，均在考虑买枪自卫。

这种所谓的gangster rap是清楚知道宣扬暴力的界限在哪儿，即不针对个人和政府。他们表述的是一种仇恨情绪，这种仇恨可以找针对任何社会群体，但主要是针对警察，仅此而已，宣扬仇恨也是一种言论自由，也是受修正案保护的。而petition则是希望请愿来通过政府提出法律修正案来限制这种自由。完全是扯蛋。这就和前些日子傻逼华人上街抗议梁彼得案一样，不着调。

知道如果你们的狗屁petition被白宫采纳，提案国会表决通过，成为法律后会如何？那我们就再也看不到阿凡达，终结者，星球大战，就再也看不到 Saturday night, 再也看不到talk show. 那时大概唯一能看到的只有万维的大妈和伪娘把我们五毛都拉黑后的家常里短。

Petition 个屁。这是自打上世纪九十年代就风靡的gangster rap, 已经有好几期有关这类音乐的谋杀案的审理，结果恰恰和楼主幻想的相反，谋杀者拿出这类音乐为自己脱罪，音乐本身是受第一修正案保护的言论自由，这类音乐盒好莱坞大片没有不同，都是宣扬暴力，只不过趣味方式不同罢了。
来了美国这么多年，对于美国言论自由的界定还是一脑子浆糊。

However, I think such petition carries little cloud. Because of free speech right, a song can NOT be banned in this country.
Any lawyers here? Legal action migh be a better option? Based on the recurring crimes against Chinese households, can we claim damages by the "song"?
We may not be able to put the "artists" in jail, but we may be able to bankrupt them, while raising the awareness/unity/strength of Chinese community?
