My great grandfather was a farmer in China. He went to Canton to be an apprentice for 7 years in jade craftsmanship. He returned to work on the farm in the farming seasons. He then worked for someone in the jade business before he started his own jade business. He did very well. He was able to give 2 houses for each of his sons and a three-story big house for himself when he was old. 

His wife fell sick and passed away after the first born was born. His wife was also a farmer. He then married his second wife who was from a rich family. The grandmother of my grandfather arranged a marriage for my grandfather, the first born, when my grandfather was 15 and my grandmother was 13 before she passed away because she did not trust her daughter-in-law, the step mother. 

The second wife came to the marriage with a servant girl. After the second wife gave birth to 6 children, my great grandfather took the servant girl too and the servant girl gave birth to a son. The second wife mistreated the servant girl and did not allow her son to live in the family. The servant girl gave birth to another girl. The second wife beat the servant girl so badly and gave little food to her. The new born girl died because of starvation. Soon the servant girl died too.

All the children went to school except my grandmother. My grandmother had to help wash all the clothes by hand and cook food for a table of over 12 people. My grandmother fainted many times due to hard work and not enough food. She decided to go back to her mother. My grandfather heard about her leaving and started immediately to go after her. My grandfather took my grandmother to my great grandfather and asked for permission to move out. My great grandfather gave them a house.

My grandfather was the head of the militia in the county. He and his 2 rich cousins built a modern school for the kids in the farming village free of charge. He had a very hard feeling about the culture and the system in old China. Right at that time communism came to China. He knew nothing about communism. The murdering revenge of his step-mother; the irresponsibility of his father to the servant girl and the new born girl; and these things were happening all over everywhere across China; all these things drove my grandfather to join a communist riot in secret. He was wounded and eventually passed away. People were told that he was bit by a poisonous snake because being a communist might get the whole family in danger at that time. 

My father joined the army to fight the Japanese when he was 18 in WWII. He joined Kuomintang, the political party in power. He was promoted to lieutenant colonel and appointed a Deputy Commanding Officer in a regiment when he was 23 years old. He headed the office of the Capital Airport Custom when corruption ruined everything after WWII. He was promoted to colonel at age 29 and headed the office in Canton to fight against corruption. Kuomintang was defeated by the communist and my father fled to Hong Kong in 1949.

My uncle and my mother were soldiers fighting against the Japanese. They both resigned from the army after WWII. They were put into prison when communist took over China. My uncle was tortured to a point that all his body parts could not move except his eye balls. My grandmother was tortured, hanged, and lined up in a file before the firing squad. She was not shot but she jumped into a pond of water that deep night after cooking a meal for me. God sent someone to reach her within 5 minutes. My clothes were striped away and I was dumped with water buffalo droppings all over my body from head down when I was 4 years old. My cousin’s mouth was stuffed with fire powers when he was one and half years old, five steps from our front door.

I was not allowed to go to that school my grandfather built. I started working to take care of 2 water buffaloes when I was 11. God helped my mother 33, my sister 13, and me 15 escaping to Hong Kong to join my father. I had bad dreams going back to visit my grandmother and woke up crying in horror soundlessly for a long time. God helped me to go to school and come to the USA. I have a MS degree in Electrical Engineering and I have been an electrical engineer all my life. I am 80 years old now. 

Left and right in USA

I went to a Texas grad school in the Spring of 1973, the year at the end of the Vietnam War. I waited in the LA Airport for about 4 hours for a flight to Texas. I saw at most 5 people having black hairs. When I, a total stranger, was walking into the terminal, a Caucasian Woman approached me, a white man behind her and 2 boys, ages 6 and 4. She did not understand my broken English. She grabbed my hand and took me to the Baggage Claim. My baggage did not arrive with me. She talked to the airport personnel. Her husband drove to a store to buy me pajamas. They told me they were my host family. What a surprise God gave me.

The 4 year old gentleman got on my bed the first morning I woke up in the USA. He taught me English. He said orange and I repeated orange many times because my orange did not sound right. The USA was a paradise. Everything was so wonderful. I saw many people with wet eyes when the preacher preached about our sin in Sunday Worship. One thing hurt me when I practiced listening to English in the PBS programs. Those programs were trying to say that it was alright to do normalization with communist China. I cried when Taiwan was kicked off of the UN. I cried again when the Taiwan Ambassador was kicked out of DC. As we all know now, Chinese communists are walking everywhere in the streets in the USA. 

The USA stopped helping the Kuomintang at the worst time in the Chinese civil war. The sons and daughters of the American missionaries, born in China and experiencing the corruption in China, thought that China was in need of change and modernization. The government officials sent to visit Mao thought that the Communists were reformers. General Marshall forced a peace talk in China between the political parties. The good Americans simply had sympathy for the hard lives of the poor Chinese people. 

After General Patton and General MacArthur were ignored, after the USSR weaponized the communists all over the world with full force of violence and arms, and after East European nations and China were taken over by communists, McCarthyism took over the USA. The USA fought in Korea and Vietnam defending freedom from communism. Yet the death of six million Jews could not stop Kissinger from shaking hands with the evil empire. Yet the death of tens of million Chinese under communist could not stop Nixon from playing tricks with Mao. The attendance of Sunday Worship started declining ever since the Vietnam War. The Vietnam War killed McCarthyism. The PBS programs were developed by some educated people who felt great about their works. Leftists got born again during the hiring to develop TV propaganda. 

After the fall of the Berlin Wall and the Tiananmen Square Massacre, the whole world knew that the end of communism was here.  Communism is not the way to go. China is becoming capitalist in making money even though the Chinese communists do not agree in words. For the last thirty years, two things are openly going on right in front of our eyes. Firstly, there are New Left, Politically Correct, and Identity Politics blending together with postmodernism and feminism and going strong in influencing society. After fifty years of diligence, they have built strongholds among the low-income in the Sociology Departments in colleges, the Educational System, labor unions, and among the government employees. Secondly, there are millions of non-white people going into the white countries. The Africans go with their rap music. The Muslims go with their mosques. The Indians go with their temples. The Chinese go with their supermarkets. They will make white culture becoming multi-cultures, white countries becoming multi-races, and Christian countries becoming multi-religions.

Communism was dead, and so manipulating the vote of the poor became safe and controllable. There are poor and rich, left and right all the time in the USA, but the number of the poor has been increasing. Education is under the control of the radicals. The quality of education goes down and down. More and more graduates cannot get good jobs. Many good jobs have been taken away by the incoming highly educated foreigners. The rich do not like raising children. The poor keep multiplying. The immigration through Immediate Relatives grows uncontrollably. The illegals are landmines hidden. The refugees of wars from the Middle East and Africa flooded Europe and America. The wars were started on purpose to create millions of refugees. It puts fuel to the fighting between left and right in the white countries. The upcoming radical politicians were funded and selected for the same purpose. This is yet the mean not the end obviously. Mob democracy ended up with millions starved to death. Poor people have been fooled again and again.

Left and right in economics and politics

The one who gets the minimum wage is the one who gets the minimum wage no matter how good the economy is achieved by the genius talents in the USA. If there are plenty of minimum wage jobs, he can quit his job and fire his manager to take another minimum wage job. That is about the best the good economy can offer him. The AI job is not for him.

There are many people with IQ below 83. There are many people with intelligence scores in the lowest 10th percentile. That is ten percent of the population, over 34 million. High Tech is other people’s business. Economics will not help them when the landlord come knocking at their doors. God help them. Good Christians bear these people in our minds.

The pragmatism states that the truth and value of an idea are determined by its practical outcomes and the real-world application. Pragmatism has been the practical thinking in building the USA. High Tech gets millions of dollars. Losers get minimum wage. That is the culture. 

Adam Smith said that everyone did the work he was most competitive in order to make a living. What happens if someone is not able to compete in anything? Karl Marx said that capitalism was heading to doomsday, yet communism has been doomed since the 1990s after making terrible lives for so many peoples.

The Pareto Principle says that 80% of the outcomes or results come from 20% of the causes or inputs. That is to say 20% of the people make 80% of the wealth. 20% make more money. 80% make less money.

The Marxists and Leftists are trying to get 50.1% of the votes out of the population. 

Say in a company of 10,000 employees, there are 1 CEO, 10 vice-presidents, 100 managers, 2,000 college-educated professions, to make up 2,111 high-pay positions. If capitalism wants to win, we have to offer at least another 3,000 decent-pay positions. That is the battle frontline we are engaged in, facing the machine guns and cannons firing at us from the Marxists and Leftists days and nights. So, for the winners in capitalism, we need to create decent-pay jobs for our dear fellow Americans.

The fighting between the left and the right is not terrible in the USA, compared to the fighting between left and right in China around 1949 which ended up in millions of deaths. The poor in China had nothing to lose. His life was miserable. The Chinese Premier in 2020 said that there were 600,000,000 Chinese making 1,000 yuan (~$143) a month in China. If the minimum wage in 2026 in the USA is $15, the minimum wage worker makes roughly about $15X40X4 = $2,400 a month. This is the reason why the fighting between left and right is not so bad in the USA. To offer a good pay to the poor is for sure the best thing to do if inflation does not come killing us.

Of course, we are not totally money-greedy humans. There is trust, hope, and love, and heaven, and Walden of Henry Thoreau. If Christian love wants to defeat hatred, Christian Love needs to have a presence in the society, in the riots in the black communities, and in the shootings in high schools. Many people see no love but bs. Charlie Kirk was killed, and President Trump has been in deep danger. Yet poor people are not able to do those acts. If so, for sure，they can make some money for themselves and not become poor.
