My work on liquid‑crystal phase transitions was cited and described as “a beautiful work” in the Physics Today review “Liquids, Crystals and Liquid Crystals” (July 1989) by J. David Litster, R. J. Birgeneau, J. D. Brock, and A. Aharony.
