美国华裔议员刘云平当选众院民主党团副主席

美国华裔众议员刘云平（Ted Lieu）11月30日当选众议院民主党党团副主席。他是首位担任这职位的亚裔人士。

刘云平当选众议院民主党党团副主席后，成为众议院民主党领导层中的第四号人物。

他1969年3月29日在台湾出生，1972年与家人移民美国。他曾服役于美国空军，自2015年起担任代表加州（California）的众议员。
